UNIT 27 - Enquiry email screenshots

This was an enquiry I sent to the FA in which I asked them if I could interview one of their staff/members. I had also asked if they could give me a suggestion of personnel to talk to on this particular topic. If i do get a chance to interview one of their personnel I will ask them about their personal opinion on the lack of asian footballers in the UK I will also ask them for stats and facts on the FA just to get some reliability in my documentary and some interesting figures.

The man I emailed here got back to me within minutes and offered his services in help. For me to go and get an interview i'd have to travel to whitechapel centre and meet him there.

I was unable to make it to this interview as I had been pre-occupied with my media work for another project.

This is the reply I sent to him asking to re-arrange the date.

UNIT 27- Production Log 5

this week i had to get some interviews with certain people to add some more footage for the documentary, unfortunately i was unable to get any interviews due to circumstances with classes and time schedules. I was meant to get an interview with Mr Jardine the PE teacher of our school but he wass busy with a school trip. I was going to get him to answer a few questions for me on influencing young people to get into sport, more specifically football. I would also get him to talk about my take in football as i had participated in school football throughout my secondary school life.

UNIT 27 - Production log 4

This week I had done some more pre-production planning and had focused more on my narrative Arc. This is the main plan of my documentary as I broke the whole project up into sections. We have to think about each section and how it will effect the audience. This is important as it makes our job of filming and organising much more easier when it comes to filming, this will also make the quality of the documentary way better. Since my documentary is on the lack of asian footballers in the UK i will be featuring a lot of interviews and many shots of different stadiums, this may require me to do this via archive footage however i will be filming around my local area. The narrative arc has a beginning, middle and end and sets up a structure for our documentary.

UNIT 27 - Production Log 3

This week our teacher assigned us into little groups and sent us to talk to each other and present our own ideas and reasons as to why we chose those ideas to work with. We were given questions to answer from the rest of the students who weren't presenting at the time. These questions varied form what type of shots we will use to what the audience will feel at certain points within our documentary. This was a good way of thinking out the reason behind some of the shots we will take and informed others about the aim for this project.

UNIT 27 - Production Log 2

This week I had developed my idea and basis of what I want to film for my documentary. I had to plan what I would feature in my documentary. I had to send out some emails to specific people as i would have interviews with them within the documentary. So far I had sent 8 emails to different people from different work areas or for different parts for my documentary. I then got some emails back and replied to them so that I could arrange these interviews. For my documentary it is vital/important that I have these interviews so that the quality of my documentary is better and so that it appeals to to the audience.
